My name is Nila Arago, and I have been working at the Hyatt for 32 years. I started out as a room cleaner at the Hyatt, and I got promted to Linen Attendant. As Linen Attendant I answer phones and make sure supplies get to where they need to go. I am in charge of 15 phone lines and have to answer all the phones before three rings. If a phone rings more than three times I can get in trouble. Many times I do not take a break because there is no one to relieve me and I can’t leave my work station. Standing for 7-8 hours a day for 32 years, I developed pain in my heels. It causes me a lot of pain and makes it difficult to walk.
